Me sharing about our team’s product in a company-wide “Lunch and Learn” (May 2025)
- Enhanced 20+ Terraform modules to support both legacy and incoming cloud architectures, enabling smooth transition and dual-environment compatibility across 40+ of GIC's internal teams.
- Led the development of an automated CI workflow for Terraform unit testing by building a GitHub Actions pipeline that dynamically detects changed modules using
git diff and runs targeted tests via matrix strategy; reduced bugs that make it to production (as compared to using manual testing).
- Engineered an automated secret rotation system for Redis AUTH tokens using AWS Lambda, Secrets Manager, and Boto3;
- Worked around complex VPC networking constraints and port configurations to securely interface with Redis clusters.
- Developed mock systems (event schedulers, Redis instances, Lambda chains) to rigorously test real-world usage and edge cases, significantly reducing manual ops overhead through automation and enhancing infrastructure security.
